In low light conditions when other systems shut down or fail to even start, an SMS controlled motor keeps running. Our Advanced SMS software controls automatically adjust for maximum motor performance. When input power fluctuates (dawn, dusk and shadowing), the SMC recalculates for the compensated run sequence and automatically adjusts the motor at a revised speed and torque based on the available light. When sunlight falls below critical lighting minimum the motor will stop and attempt a restart with the available light at revised torque and speed.
